Company Policy

Term, Condition and Policy:
All buyers must agree to the term, condition and policy before purchasing.

Term and Condition: All orders will be processed once the full payment amount is received and cleared. Most orders are processed within 1-2 business days if not the same day after the full payment amount is received. Shipping time usually takes about 2-7 business days depending on the relative location to Kansas; however delivery time is not guaranteed by the seller. Estimated shipping time applies only to domestic orders. International orders may take longer time to deliver. Occasionally for orders that are very heavy or require a large box we will ship using Fedex Ground or UPS Ground. At this time we will not ship any orders with overnight delivery. All items are shipped with Delivery Confirmation and Insurance.

Buyer is legally obligated to purchase the item.

All sales are final. No return or exchange unless DOA (defective on arrival).

DOA return policy: All DOA (defective on arrival) products (excluding physical damage during shipment, which is only covered by the optional shipping insurance) needs to be reported within 7 business days from the purchase date. Buyer must contact the seller before returning the defective product. All DOA returns must be provided with original physical condition. All DOA returns that test to be in good working condition are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges involved in return if product tests to be in good working condition.

Returned Merchandise: Any merchandise returned for a refund must be returned within 30 days of purchase. The merchandise must be unused, in its original package, and in resalable condition. We will not exchange or refund any product with a product package having "defective" or anything else written on it. Installing a servo constitutes used merchandise. Servo returns must include the complete unopened accessory package. All returns must include a copy of the original packing list that came with your shipment. For merchandise that is not defective, you may be charged a re-stocking fee equal to our original cost of shipping. You must include a note with the reason for return or exchange or we will not process your return.

Missing And Incorrect Items In Order: Packing orders involves human interaction. Occasionally human error results in a missing or incorrect item being sent with your order. If this happens, notify us immediately.

Back Orders And Out-Of-Stock Items: On occasion we may run out-of-stock on an item while we are the middle of filling orders on a given day. If we run out-of-stock on an item in your order we will remove that item from your order and you will not be charged. We do not keep back orders on any out-of-stock items.

Defective Merchandise: For Castle Creations, Dimension Engineering, GWS, Hitec, Multiplex, Plantraco Precision Heli, and RC Electronics return defective merchandise to the respective manufacturer. Other defective products can be returned for refund or exchange under the following conditions: Merchandise must be returned unused in its original package. Do not write on the package. Include a brief note describing the defect on a separate piece of paper. Installing and using a battery constitutes used merchandise. Installing a servo constitutes used merchandise. Servo returns must include the complete unopened accessory package. Any servo return with an incomplete or missing package will not be exchanged or refunded. Mechanical damage such as stripped gears, broken control horns, and cracked cases will not be covered by our 30 day warranty. Defective merchandise will only be replaced or refunded within 30 days of purchase. Defective merchandise will be replaced or refunded at our discretion.

Limits Of Lithium Polymer Batteries: Once you receive your battery or battery pack, test it for low voltage condition before you charge or discharge the battery. There is no warranty for any Lithium Polymer battery or battery pack once you have placed it on a charger. Once you use or discharge a Lithium Polymer battery or battery pack there is no warranty. As used in R/C applications discharge rates exceed the manufacturer's specified maximum rates for these cells. Therefore, the use of Lithium Polymer batteries in radio-controlled models is to be considered experimental, and there is no warranty, expressed or implied, with respect to the capacity, life in cycles, storage, or discharge characteristics of cells in RC use, nor any other use nor aspect. We strongly suggest you follow AMA safety precautions with these cells. Since we cannot guarantee customers will follow the proper safety precautions and use an appropriate well functioning charger with the correct settings, therefore, WhiteLightning RC Hobbies assumes no responsibility for the use of Lithium Polymer battery products by our customers. Your use of this product means you accept our terms and you are fully responsible for any consequences of your use.

Responsibility: We accept no responsibility for crash damage. It is impossible to determine for certain whether crash damage was the result of a radio system failure or pilot error. We accept no responsibility for crash damage occurring during the use of a radio-controlled model. Electrical polarity must be properly observed in hooking up electrical components. Current limits must be observed with batteries, speed controllers, and electric motors. Fuses must be used with all electrical components where indicated (example: speed controllers). WhiteLightning RC Hobbies accepts no responsibility for the improper installation and use of purchased products.

Our Email And Privacy Policy: We do not share your private information with any other company. When you give us your Email address we do not share or sell it to anyone. We will send you an Email notification when we receive your order. You will receive an Email notification when your order has been shipped. We do save your Email address in our ordering-customers mailing list. As a result of being on this list, you will receive our monthly (sometimes bi-monthly) specials and newsletter. We will send you at most one or two Emails per month.
